Welcome to the Agnes McCarthy Caregiver Foundation (AMCF) website. The following Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (Policy) describes the online information practices of the AMCF. When you visit this website, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully.
The AMCF welcomes visitors to our site, which can be browsed without the need to submit any personal information. By using the AMCF website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. The AMCF reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time, without prior notification.

(c) sign up to receive updates and information from us
(d) submit your credit card or other payment information to make a donation or purchase.
In order to apply for a grant, make a donation, or purchase any item from AMCF, a secure session must be established using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL is standard technology that provides for keeping an internet connection secure and safeguarding any sensitive data that is being sent between two systems, preventing unauthorized persons from reading and modifying the information transferred. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, AMCF cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us. Confidential information should not be sent by E-mail. Site visitors sending Emails accept the risk that an unauthorized third party may intercept their Email messages.
As a grantee or donor, you may be assigned an account and password in order to access certain areas of this website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the account and password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to immediately notify the Agnes McCarthy Charitable Foundation (AMCF) of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. The Agnes McCarthy Charitable Foundation cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.
Your personal information is used for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services, funding and receipts you have requested from the AMCF. AMCF collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested. We may also use that information to inform you of other available products or services.
When you make a donation to AMCF, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the donation transaction.
AMCF does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) regulates online collection of information from children under the age of 13. If you, reader, are under the age of 13, you should not be accessing this website, as it is not intended for use by persons 13 years old or younger. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for written permission to use this website and such permission must be sent to the Agnes McCarthy Charitable Foundation (AMCF) in writing.
If you are a parent or guardian, we urge you to think carefully before you authorize a child under 13 years of age to access this site. You must send your written permission to AMCF at the address below, and you must be able to produce a written response from AMCF, confirming our knowledge that you have given permission for a child under the age of 13 to access the AMCF site.

AMCF does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

Subject to certain exceptions, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will attempt to:
- Delete your personal information from our records and
- Direct our service providers to delete your personal information from their records.
Please note that AMCF may not be able to comply with requests to delete your personal information if we must:
- Complete a transaction for which the personal information was collected, provide a good or service requested by you or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal or state law, or otherwise perform a contract between you and AMCF;
- Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activity;
- Debug, identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality;
- Comply with any US or State Electronic Communications Privacy Act;
- Complete an engagement in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when our deletion of the information is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of such research, provided we have obtained your informed consent;
- Comply with existing legal obligations; or
- Otherwise use your personal information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information to AMCF.
From time to time, AMCF may contact you via E-mail for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and or other general communications. If you would like to stop receiving such announcements, marketing, or promotional communications from AMCF via Email, you may opt out of such communications by clicking on this UNSUBSCRIBE button.
AMCF reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary E-mail address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our website, and by updating this privacy policy. Your continued use of the website and/or AMCF services after such notification will constitute your (a) acknowledgment of the modified Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by the Policy.
